Auditions

Participants are selected through these non-competitive group "auditions."
Audition activities include engaging in improvisational acting exercises and a simple dance combination, singing, and completing a short survey.
Criteria for selection includes availability, willingness to collaborate with a diverse group of young people, and concern for the various issues they face today.

No previous performing experience is necessary whatsoever, and no one is ever accepted on the basis of talent.

When does the program meet? Saturday Program 10:30am - 5:30pm every Saturday fromOct 8th, 2016 through June 24th, 2017 After-School Program 4:30pm - 7:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday from Oct 11th, 2016 through May 25th, 2017

Who is eligible to join? Our After-School and Saturday Programs are open to any youth ages 13-19 who want to create positive change in their lives and communities. For youth who cannot make an on-site audition, we will also be hosting four open auditions at a central location. You can sign up to get information about these open auditions here.
