This April, we will premiere a new original musical “Live. Record. Repeat?” featuring our After-School Cast.
About the Show: Lana Villanueva loves to study
history but she hates going to history class. A senior and a daughter of
immigrants, she wants to know the real story of the past not just the
version that’s included in her history textbooks. Textbooks that don’t
include the stories of people like her and her friends. What if she
could record the stories of today and write the history that future
generations studied? What if she told the true story As she examines the
lives of her peers and finds them struggling with violence, broken
families, love and loneliness, she discovers the question she is afraid
to answer – is this how her generation is going to be remembered?
