Arts and Justice Program
Students develop the
artistic and critical thinking skills to examine social justice. Students
explore the impact of contemporary social justice issues – such as
stop-and-frisk policies and the Trayvon Martin trial—on their lives, creating
an original script based on research and personal experience. The class crafts
a collaborative piece of theater through workshops with a professional director
culminating in a final showcase to be performed at the BAM Fisher.ntemporary
