Parsons Scholars is a three-year college preparation program in art and design. New York City public high school students interested in art and design can apply in the fall of their 10th-grade year to become Parsons Scholars. Those accepted to the program will study design at the college level, learn about art and design careers, and acquire tools and knowledge that will help them gain admission to and achieve success at Parsons or any college of art and design.
During their time as Parsons Scholars, students attend classes offered by Parsons Pre-College Academy and Summer Intensive Studies programs. In addition to the courses, Parsons provides extracurricular programs to raise the high school students' awareness of their college and career options.
