BAM helps teens develop critical tools for experiencing art in after-school programs. These free programs cover a range of interests, from dancing and choreography, to examining issues of social justice.
Dancing Into the Future

High school students choreograph original work and attend performances by celebrated dance companies.
Part of Education
Teamwork, commitment, and self-confidence are the central tenets of this intensive dance workshop. Students at all levels learn a variety of movement styles and work collaboratively to choreograph a dynamic dance piece.
In this program, students:
• Attend live dance performances
• Learn diverse styles, like African dance and Bollywood
• Create an entirely original dance piece to perform for friends and family at the BAM Fisher
• Work creatively with a team
• Learn expression through movement
Application deadline: Dec 15, 2017
All students must complete an online application and interview to be considered for the program. No previous experience is required. BAM covers the cost of performance tickets and travel on days of performances.
