Students develop the artistic and critical thinking skills to examine social justice.

Students examine important social justice issues through the lens of the arts in this unique interdisciplinary program. Through workshops in theater and creative writing, participants develop artistic, critical thinking, and presentation skills—while also gaining a deeper understanding of important issues affecting young people and their communities.
In this program, students:
・ Engage in self-expression, creative writing, research, and in-depth group projects
・ Develop an original theatrical presentation to share with their friends & family
・ Performed at the BAM Fisher
・ Attend events and discussions with invited guest speakers
Application deadline: Nov 13, 2015
All students must complete an online application and interview in order to be considered for the program. No previous experience is required.
