I’m reaching out to you as a reminder that Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP 2020) is still expected to be running as normal and even a little more important for financial stability for our youth and their families during this crisis.  During this time, we are assisting participants apply for Summer Youth Employment Program remotely. We are sharing the link below if any of your students would like to apply. Deadline for application is April 10, 2020. (646)581-6930  What is SYEP? The New York City Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides over 6,500 employers with interns and entry-level employees. Participants work 25 hours weekly for 6 weeks at $15.00 per hour.  The SYEP experience introduces youth to the workplace, and provides an educational component that enhances this exposure to the world of work by allowing youth to gain the self-confidence, career awareness, financial literacy, and interpersonal competencies needed to succeed over the long term.
