Shakespeare's Macbeth at Highbridge
NYC Parks, in conjunction with the Public Theatre, is bringing Macbeth directed by Edward Torres to the Highbridge Recreation Center. The Public Theater, in partnership with NYC Parks' Arts, Culture & Fun series, performs a contemporary rendition of Macbeth.
These performances are exclusive to NYC Parks' Recreation Centers, and form The Public Theater's Mobile Unit program. The renditions tend to be very modern, plain clothes, and seem more improvised than traditional Shakespeare performances. Come have fun for free
Saturday April 25, 2015 at 3 pm at the Highbridge Recreation Center located at 2301 Amsterdam Avenue (@173rdStreet)
