Friends Committee Beautification Day Roll up your sleeves, get down in the dirt and get in touch with the earth of Fort Tryon Park. Help us plant new shrubs for Earth Day in Fort Washington Terrace, care for plants in Javits Playground and paint and spruce up the Heather Garden's fence posts. Check in at the Heather Garden entrance at Margaret Corbin Circle. Children under 16 must be accompanied by the adult. Sunday April, 26th from 10:00 am to 2pm.
