It is my pleasure to inform you that the 2014 Teen Career Connection program is now accepting applications for the summer of 2014. Below are some of the details of the program. Attached is a copy of the application. (please do not send or fax any applications – only online applications will be accepted)
TEEN CAREER CONNECTION @ Westside YMCA
PAID SUMMER INTERSHIP
- 8 week internship in a related career field of interest: marketing,
legal, arts, nonprofit, media, veterinary, and technological companies
· 2 weeks of professional development training (workplace communications.
· Paired with a Career Coach/Mentor during the summer
- $1,250 stipend
- $300 clothing stipend
- 2 unlimited monthly MetroCards for the duration of the internship
The application period ends on Saturday March 22
nd at 8pm. The internships are only open to students who are currently in
their sophomore, junior, or senior year, as
