The High School Law Institute (HSLI)  is a free program sponsored by NYU School of Law and Columbia Law School.  HSLI provides students with a unique opportunity to learn the basics of criminal law, constitutional law, and participate in a mock trial competition.  This enrichment program will not only help students gain a better understanding of the American legal system, but it will also be a great resume-builder.  In addition, HSLI will host valuable events throughout the year, such as College Day, where students can learn more the college admissions process and speak with representatives from nationwide schools.

Classes are held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays, and are taught by trained NYU and Columbia law students. Students can choose to take classes at the NYU or Columbia campus.  Please see the link to the application:
