NYC Summer STEM 2015 is a free program designed to provide current 2nd, 7th & 10th graders with the opportunity to participate in an innovative, engaging, and fun summer learning program designed specifically around science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The program also includes other enrichment opportunities, such as arts and physical activity.

There are two sites in each borough, one for the elementary program and the other for middle and high school students. Click on the links below to see where each of the schools are located.
These applications are mobile/tablet friendly so parents/guardians can sign the application using a touch screen or mouse.
  • Selection will be done via lottery. Besides being in the three grades (2nd, 7th and 10th) students must have at least 90% attendance during the school year and not be required to attend summer school.
  • Parents will be notified of acceptance in this program by June 23 via email.
  • Applications in languages other than English and help with internet or device access are available by contacting your parent coordinator.

Paper Applications

If there are challenges in completing the application online, here are paper forms which can be mailed or delivered to 52 Chambers Street, NYC 10007. All applications must be received by June 15, 2015.
