Wednesday, May 23 | Places and Spaces

Future Green Studio will present an interactive case study of one of its own built projects: the 20,000-square-foot rooftop plaza at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Students will fabricate their own innovative designs for this terrace in teams, using various modeling materials familiar to professionals in the field, in response to the institution’s diverse programming needs and array of daily visitors. Through this hands-on approach, participants will explore prevailing typologies within landscape architecture that contribute vital ecological and human services to the urban environment.
