Write the Future: Enrollment is Open
Apply by June 1 to be a Girls Write Now
Mentor or Mentee
Girls Write Now is a dynamic, multigenerational community of women on a mission. For more than 20 years, our nationally award-winning programs have provided creative, critical and digital guidance, support, and opportunities for the next generation of writers.
Girls Write Now is currently accepting applications for the September 2019 – June 2020 program year. Apply to be a Mentor (girlswritenow.org/mentor) or a Mentee (girlswritenow.org/mentee).
At Girls Write Now, we match high school girls with women professional writers and media makers as their personal mentors. Mentors and mentees explore new trends in writing across genres and media, combining storytelling with 21st century digital skills, elevating their voices as authors. Together, women learn and grow through weekly pair sessions and monthly workshops, presenting and publishing their original writing by year’s end.
The deadline to apply is June 1. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early applications are strongly encouraged.
