Fall 2017 AMNH 15th Annual College Fair The Museum invites all high school students and their families to its 15th Annual College Fair on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:30 PM.

The Museum invites all high school students and their families to its 15th Annual College Fair!  The most up-to-date list of schools in attendance is on the website.  Many types of schools will be there – from CUNY to Ivy League to small liberal arts schools!
Date: Friday, October 20th
Time: 5-7:30 PM
Entry: first floor security entrance: follow the driveway that begins on either side of the Central Park West stairs; you will be walking beneath the main staircase.  Follow the signs to the Hall of Ocean Life!
No registration necessary!

FREE! Open to the public. No pre-registration required. 
[Note: Colleges and Universities must pre-register, as space is limited; schools are currently by invitation only, but we may accommodate more if there is still space.]
Location: Hall of Ocean Life, American Museum of Natural History. Enter through the First Floor Security entrance: follow the driveway that begins on either side of the Central Park West stairs; you will be walking beneath the main staircase.  Follow the signs to the Hall of Ocean Life.
 
Directions: To get to the Museum by subway take the B or C train to 81st Street. Two blocks west of the Museum, the 1 train stops at Broadway and West 79th Street. To get to the Museum by bus take the M79 bus traveling east/west on West 79th Street across Central Park, with a stop next to the Museum on West 81st Street. Other buses also stop at or near the Museum, including the M7, M10, M11, M86 and M104 buses.

Join us for an information session about what colleges look for in successful applications, tips for writing a winning admissions essay and avoiding common pitfalls, and how to craft an application that gets noticed for all the right reasons.

Entry: via 77th Street entrance

It's that stressful time of year, when seniors are working furiously on college applications! Join us for an information session about what colleges look for in successful applications, tips for writing a winning admissions essay and avoiding common pitfalls, and how to craft an application that gets noticed for all the right reasons. There will be time to ask the experts your pressing questions as well.
